The Exel CNC A1S is our entry-level 8ft x 4ft CNC router, designed for workshops that need professional capability at an accessible price point. While it is our most competitively priced machine in this size, the A1S is specified well above typical entry-level routers.

Built on a rigid steel frame and gantry, the A1S features upgraded 8.7Nm stepper motors, Delta MS series spindle inverter, spindle brake, multiple emergency stops, and rubber-damped levelling feet for improved stability and accuracy. A full-colour handheld controller allows complete machine operation without the need for a permanently connected PC.
With a powerful 3.5kW spindle, vacuum hold-down bed, and industrial-grade components throughout, the A1S delivers excellent cutting performance, reliability, and long-term value — making it an ideal choice for woodworking, cabinetry, sign making, plastics, and light aluminium machining.
